Choral society performs this weekend

We received the following press release from the Plainville Choral Society…

A murder occurs on the set of the television show “It’s A Living” (similar to the old “What’s My Line?” television program) and it is up to an off duty detective and an amateur sleuth (like Jessica Fletcher from “Murder She Wrote” ) to catch the killer.   PCS Players presents “Occupation:Murder” on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 pm at Plainville Middle School.  Written by Billy St. John, there are any number of suspects and with all the inter-relationships between the characters, any one of them has a motive. But who had the opportunity?  Will the show still go on?

PCS Players was founded in 2005 under the umbrella of the Plainville Choral Society in hopes of expanding the horizons of those involved and those who enjoy the stage.  The Players put on an annual performance in the fall of each year, including original works and published plays.  The group includes members from Plainville and surrounding towns, including Farmington, Bristol, Southington, and Simsbury.  This year’s production involves Karen Hodge as Director, Maureen Deming as Stage Manager and appearing in the cast: Sharon Amundsen, Rebekkah Robbins Bowles, Dave Brown, Deborah Wishart-Dunn, Sara Fabrizio, Michael A. Fox, Amy Gallo, Eileen Glancy, Pat Lachmund, Jerry Lynch, Stacy DeVoe Rosay, Foster White, Maureen Wishart and Lola Wishart.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any cast member, or by calling 860-559-9781.  Tickets are also available at the door.  Check us out further on Facebook.
