Drop-in story times underway at library

October 1, 2013

The Plainville Public Library is offering fall drop-in storytimes. These classes are free and open to the public. No registration necessary.

Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. – On the Loose with Mother Goose.

Children ages 0 to 23 months and their caregivers are invited to this fun-filled interactive morning of stories, nursery rhymes, musical instruments, puppets, and more.

Tuesdays from 6:30 to7:15 p.m. – Books and a Bonus.

A book-based program for kids in grades K-3 will explore great read alouds including narrative non-fiction with lots of interactive fun and games.

Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. – 2s and 3s.

This class is recommended for two and three-year olds and their caregivers (siblings are welcome). Stories, fingerplays and songs are built upon, and we will begin working on fine motor skills and tactile discovery through the introduction of simple crafts exploring shape and form.

Call the Children’s Department at (860) 793-1450 for more information.
