Library, Rec. Dept. offer April vacation programs

The Plainville Public Library and The Plainville Recreation Department are offering the following April vacation programs.

Monday April 14: Splash Party at the High School Pool (all ages), 11 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.

Monday April 14: Rubber Band Bracelet Fun (ages 6 and up), 1 p.m.

Children are invited to make rubber band bracelets (like Rainbow Loom). Participants should bring their own loom and supplies to share their knowledge with others and create bracelets together. Some supplies provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own for more fun. Drop in.

Monday April 14, Teen Movie Special: “Ride Along” (PG13), 2 p.m.

Grab your friends, bring your pillows and snacks and get comfortable watching this month’s Teen Advisory movie pick.

Tuesday, April 15: Splash Party at the High School Pool (all ages), 11 a.m.to1:30 p.m.

Tuesday, April 15: On the Loose with Mother Goose (0- 24 months), 10:30 a.m.

Bond with your little one during a fun-filled interactive program featuring books, rhymes, songs, musical instruments, puppets, and more. Drop in.

Tuesday, April 15: Teen Craft: DIY Picture Frame, (ages 11 and up), 2 p.m.

Wednesday, April 16: Splash Party at the High School Pool (all ages), 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 16: Drop-in Plant Craft (all ages), 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Plant a flower seed to take home, nurture and eventually plant outdoors to enjoy all summer. While supplies last.

Thursday, April 17: Splash Party at the High School Pool (all ages), 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 17: Let’s Move Together (best for ages 2-5), 10:30 a.m.

Join Miss Kim and Miss Margaret as they lead children and caregivers through a busy, fast moving half hour of music and fingerplays. Drop in.

Thursday, April 17, Family Dinner Theater: Frozen (all ages), 6:30 p.m.

Encore Presentation. Families can bring their dinner to enjoy while watching the movie. Popcorn will be served. This movie is rated PG and is 102 minutes long
