E. Hartford man charged with sexual assault

An East Hartford man was arrested on Thursday, May 24, and was charged with three separate counts of first degree sexual assault, four separate counts on second degree sexual assault, and seven separate counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Hector Morales, 48, of 57 Scotland Rd., East Hartford, is believed to have had a sexual relationship for several years, with a minor. Lieutenant Nicholas Mullins said the arrest warrant has been sealed by a judge, in order to protect the victim’s identity.

Morales’ bond was set at $250,000, and he will appear in Bristol Superior Court on Friday, May 25.
