The Light Hangar Company appeared at the 34 annual Bristol Home and Business Expo, Feb. 16 and 17, and the founders described the event as a great way to see a lot of people.

Laura and Jeffrey Davis are the wife and husband duo behind The Light Hangar Co., located at 1 Town Line Rd., Plainville. They celebrated their opening about four months ago,  and at the time Laura Davis said the pair chose Plainville because “they’re very business friendly,” and they “thought it was a great central location.”

“I’ve been overwhelmed by the welcome that we’ve received,” said Laura Davis. “We’ve been in touch with many residents, contractors, and business owners, and we’re really happy to be a part of the community.”

Since opening, Laura Davis said they have had customers come into the showroom, but now, “we’re just looking to get more.”

The Light Hangar Co., combines Jeff Davis’ knowledge as an electrician with Laura Davis’ eye for design, stemming from her work as a graphic designer.

Expo attendees were able to test the couples knowledge, as Laura Davis said that she and Jeff has talked with a couple that has some technical knowledge of their own.

“We not only have the design portion, we also have the technical portion as well,” said Laura Davis.
